Since its establishment in 1944, the Shimizu Institute of Technology has been carrying out a wide variety of research and development towards the modernization of construction technology. The tour of the Institute of Technology will cover such technologies as rooftop biotope, smart BEMS (Building Energy Management System), micro-grid energy plant, acoustic laboratory (utilizing recycled concrete), and more.
